The Ambimap of Wave Philosophy

The Ambimap of Wave Philosophy is an audiovisual immersive performance emerging from my ongoing development of a wave ontology. A metaphysical meditation on the principles of waves (vibration, oscillation, rhythm, this work bridges quantum physics, posthuman feminism, and Chinese philosophical traditions that perceive the body as a cybernetic system. Ambimap flows through the porous boundaries between the biosphere and bitsphere, where waves carry both qi-energy and digital information. Sound waves fold into light waves; brainwave fluctuations ripple into electromagnetic signals; noise particles leave invisible traces, while the imperceptible tremors of the Earth and atmospheric data form intricate layers of interconnected feedback. The piece charts the symbiotic exchange between the fuzzy ambience of human cognition and planetary atmospheres, unfolding across a continuum of micro and macro infrastructures. A work of variable duration, Ambimap renders itself as an opening, an immersive cartography, a field of generative resonances within the tension of a world held together in oscillations: the computable and uncomputable, the human and the more-than-human, the transient and the infinite.
