Deep Aware Triads 2019–2020

The Deep Aware Triads series attempts to translate various complex systems and phenomena into images through the lens of artificial intelligence. It involves a recursive biomimicry process for making digital collages based on the diagrams of artificial neural networks. Machine-calculated pixels blend the boundaries of images into unexpected and obscure brushes and textures. Images sourced from stock photograph archives and academic research papers encroach on each other as digital bodies. Resembling a microscopic view, the final work with intricate details stimulates algorithmic pareidolia.
