In the form of a commercial poster, Is Art with Bacon Still Art is a parody of an advertising campaign of McDonald (Canada). The original slogan appeared on the commercial of Big Mac and the responding online campaign represent the concurrent capitalist exploitation of our everyday life.
The absurdity of the question intrigued the artist to raise an existential question about Art as a product. As the methods of Net Art have been appropriated by corporate uses as means of propaganda to streamline specific capitalist ideologies, this work is to amplify the semantic noise that increases the entropy of the imposed message.
